# Create and review test cases and test plans based on functional specifications and requirements documents.
# Execute test cases and test plans using manual or automated methods.
# Identify, isolate and document software defects, either independently or with QA/Development peers.
# Maintain and expand existing testing documentation (test plans, test cases/scripts, defect reports, etc.) for products and solutions.
# Assist in on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution and reporting methods are effective, efficient, standardized, coordinated and integrated.
# Provide status and escalate issues to QA Manager as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Full understanding of system/product architecture.
# Ability to give input and do research into new automated testing technologies.
# Strong working knowledge of defect tracking systems.
# Strong knowledge of QA methodologies within software development environment.
# Experience in customer facing environment.
# Strong attention to detail and ability to independently perform quality assurance with or without technical documentation.
# Ability to provide defect and risk information in a clear and concise manner to different business groups.
